Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10.09.2026 ยท Last updated: 10.09.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Evulio LLC ("Evulio," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you use the Evulio website, mobile application, creator tools, Flipbooks, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Evulio, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account and profile information, such as name, email address, username, profile information, account settings, and account status.
- Purchase and transaction information, such as Flipbook purchases, credit balances, transaction history, refunds, and payment status. Full payment-card details are generally processed by payment or app-store providers and are not stored by Evulio.
- Usage and learning activity, such as Flipbooks viewed or purchased, progress, streaks, interactions, follows, reviews, ratings, searches, and feature usage.
- Creator information, such as creator profile details, submitted text and materials, content drafts, published Flipbooks, payout information, and creator-platform activity.
- Communications, including support requests, feedback, reports, and other messages you send to us.
- Technical information, such as IP address, device type, operating system, browser, app version, identifiers, crash data, security logs, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Cookie and analytics information collected through cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies where applicable.
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a specific feature or legal requirement. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information through creator content, support messages, or other free-text fields.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- create and manage accounts, purchases, credits, and access to Flipbooks;
- process creator submissions and generate, format, analyze, illustrate, or otherwise produce Flipbooks and related assets;
- personalize learning experiences and recommendations;
- provide customer support and communicate about accounts, transactions, service updates, and security;
- operate analytics, measure performance, diagnose errors, and improve features;
- prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and enforcement obligations;
- send marketing communications where permitted by law and subject to applicable opt-out rights.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply, we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time for processing that relies on consent, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
4. Payments
Payments may be processed through payment methods and providers made available through the Services, which may include Apple, Google, PayPal, or other providers. Those providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms. Evulio generally receives transaction confirmations and related account information rather than complete card or bank-account credentials.
5. AI and Creator Content
Evulio uses automated and AI-supported tools as part of the Flipbook creation workflow. Creator-provided text, instructions, metadata, and other materials may be transmitted to third-party AI, cloud, or processing providers where necessary to generate, restructure, analyze, illustrate, moderate, or otherwise process Flipbooks.
We aim to limit personal information sent to AI providers to what is reasonably necessary for the requested processing. Creators should avoid including unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive information in materials submitted for AI processing unless they have the right and a lawful basis to do so.
6. Analytics, Cookies, and Similar Technologies
Evulio may use analytics, cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to provide essential functionality, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, detect fraud, and improve the Services. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or tracking, Evulio will request that consent before using those technologies. Users may also have controls through their browser, device, or Evulio settings.
7. Marketing Communications
Where permitted by law, Evulio may send product updates, creator recommendations, promotional messages, and similar communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or change applicable notification preferences. Transactional, security, and account-service messages may still be sent when necessary.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to:
- hosting, database, infrastructure, analytics, security, customer-support, email, AI, and other service providers acting on our behalf;
- payment processors and app-store operators as needed to process transactions;
- professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, lawyers, and insurers where reasonably necessary;
- law-enforcement, regulators, courts, or other authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security;
- a buyer, investor, successor, or other relevant party in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction;
- other parties where you direct us to share information or provide valid consent.
If Evulio engages in activity that constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under an applicable privacy law, we will provide any legally required notices and opt-out methods.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business, security, fraud-prevention, legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and compliance purposes. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it is processed.
When an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize personal information where reasonably possible, subject to information that must or may be retained for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, transaction-record, dispute, or enforcement purposes. De-identified or aggregated information may be retained where it can no longer reasonably identify you.
10. International Data Transfers
Evulio and its service providers may process or store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, Evulio will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as recognized contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent. You may also have the right to appeal certain privacy decisions or complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy law, including rights to know, correct, delete, and, where applicable, opt out of sale or sharing and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. These rights apply only when the relevant legal thresholds and requirements are met.
To submit a privacy request, contact us at support@evulio.com or use any privacy-request method made available in the Services. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
12. Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion through the Services where available or by contacting Evulio. Account deletion may result in the loss of purchased Flipbooks, account history, progress, and unused credits as described in the Terms of Service, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Privacy-related deletion requests remain subject to legally permitted or required retention.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. However, no internet service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Children and Minimum Age
Evulio is not intended for children under 16. Users under 18 must have parent or guardian permission where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age without legally required authorization. If we learn that such information was collected improperly, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may contain links to, integrations with, or functionality provided by third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Evulio is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
16. Business Transfers
If Evulio is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will state the new "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Services, by email, or by another appropriate method where required by law.
